Contents:

Training of nurses and physicians in Iraqi hospitals in Baghdad in the areas of ICUs-Intensive Care Units, RCUs-Respiratory Care Units, CCUs-Coronary Care Units. To be done in general training hospitals and specialized hospitals.

Providing of training modules in Iraq, with two parts:

1-     Knowledge: improving knowledge of medical/surgical conditions (physiopathology, pharmacology, anaesthesia and pain management, infections prevention)

2-     Practice: improving practical skills through on-the-job training (including practice with intensive care unit equipment: mechanical ventilators, equipment for constant monitoring of bodily functions, extracorporeal dialysis equipment, nasogastric tubes, etc.)

Attendance to modules and their parts (part 1-knowledge and/or part 2-practice) will depend on individual/small group training program.
